A great day was had in the sunshine for our home Juniors and juniors from across West Wales. Over 40 players competed in several categories, all well supported by parents and families. Our Juniors performed well and there were some notable winners: Tabitha Curtis was 2nd in the Girls Stableford, Will Davies was 2nd in the Boys Stableford, Robbie Stirling was runner-up in the Boys Nett Medal and Oli Reed was 1st in the Boys Nett Medal (72). Finley Atyeo won nearest the pin on the 14th and Oli Reed had longest drive on the 4th. Well done to everybody who competed!
Thanks to Nicky Reeves and Olivia Cryl (Dyfed League) who did the scorecards and results. Steve Mundy was our official starter and Alex Jones our on-course referee. Helen and Richard made sure everybody was suitable fed and refreshed after the game. Thanks also to all our spotters who did a great job out on the course. Elliot and Spence managed the pro shop as usual and thanks to the Greens Team who prepared the course.
Special thanks to Pam Pile, our Master Baker, who along with her assistant Alex kept the players nourished with some lovely homemade cakes and cookies at halfway. They must have gone down well as only crumbs left!
